1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DETECTO ThreatDossier ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ThreatDossier is an external attack surface intelligence platform that performs automated, non-intrusive security assessments of publicly accessible web domains. The Service analyzes publicly available information including DNS records, SSL certificates, HTTP headers, and public breach databases.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use ThreatDossier only for lawful purposes. You may only scan:

• Domains that you own or are authorized to assess
• Domains for which you have written permission from the owner
• Your own organization's external attack surface

You must not:

• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm any person or organization
• Attempt to circumvent scan rate limits or access controls
• Resell or redistribute scan results without a valid subscription
• Use automated tools to interact with the Service beyond its intended API

4. Accounts & Subscriptions

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Free accounts are limited to 3 scans per month. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe and may be cancelled at any time through the billing portal.

AppSumo lifetime deal licenses are non-transferable and subject to the usage limits specified at the time of purchase.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that scan results are complete, accurate, or current. Security findings are based on automated external checks and should not be considered a substitute for a comprehensive security audit or penetration test. We are not responsible for any actions taken or not taken based on scan results.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DETECTO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by DETECTO and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. PDF reports generated by the Service are licensed for your internal use and may be shared with your clients if you have an active subscription.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
